What is this study about?

This clinical research study is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for children and adolescents who experience migraine attacks. The goal is to better understand how the medication works in participants aged 6 to 17 years and how their bodies respond to it.

What is migraine?

Migraine is a neurological condition that can cause moderate to severe head pain, nausea, light or sound sensitivity, and other symptoms. In children and teens, migraines may affect school, sleep, and everyday activities.

How is the investigational medication given?

The investigational medication is taken orally. Participants may receive either the investigational medication or a placebo during the study.

What will my child be asked to do?

Your child will attend scheduled visits at our research clinic. These visits include study-related evaluations and safety monitoring conducted by trained medical professionals.

Is compensation included?

All study-related care, medical assessments, and investigational product are provided at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.

Who may qualify for the study?

Your child may be eligible to participate if they are between 6 and 17 years of age. Have had migraine symptoms for at least 6 months. Experience between 1 and 14 migraine attacks per month.

How do I find out if my child qualifies?

Our research team will perform a screening process to determine if the study is a good fit for your child based on their health history and current condition.
